Mindset Matters
Youth Athletic Club

Stronger minds. Better athletes. Skills for life.

Help your young athlete build confidence, manage pressure, recover from setbacks, and enjoy the game again.

Personalized coaching · Practical skills · Support beyond the field

THE MENTAL GAME MATTERS

When the challenge isn't physical.

Your athlete has practiced the skills. But what happens after a mistake, during a slump, or when game-day pressure takes over? Mindset Matters helps young athletes build mental skills they can practice in sports—and use throughout life.

ONE MONTH ENROLLMENT

What parents can expect:

A supportive coaching relationship, practical strategies to practice between sessions, and an emphasis on progress your athlete can recognize and use.

The program focuses on coaching and skill-building; it is not a substitute for clinical mental health treatment.

✔️ Four individual sessions

Four 50-minute, one-on-one sessions with a coach each month

✔️ Bonus monthly group workshop

Related skills, useful information, and hands-on practice

✔️ Personalized focus

Goals and strategies shaped around your athlete's needs

✔️ Priority for continuing athletes

Current enrollees receive enrollment priority for the following month

This isn't a one-size-fits-all lesson plan.

A coach gets to know your athlete, identifies meaningful goals, and helps them practice strategies for situations they actually face—in training, competition, and life.

HOW IT WORKS

Learn it. Practice it. Use it.

1

Connect

The coach learns about your athlete's strengths, challenges, and goals.

2

Practice

Sessions build tools for pressure, focus, confidence, and setbacks.

3

Apply

Your athlete tries the strategies in real situations and reflects on what works.

FOR TEAMS, COACHES, & FAMILIES

Workshops built around your team.

Every team has its own strengths and challenges. Before a workshop, the Mindset Matters team meets with coaches to understand your goals and tailor the experience to your players.

Single session team or group workshop

A focused session shaped around player and coach needs. Possible topics include confidence, communication, responding to mistakes, pressure, and team culture.

Weeklong team or group workshops

An extended format to introduce, practice, and reinforce mental performance skills over a week. Content will be customized through advance conversations with coaches and players.
